following tony's lead here are my quickie reviews of this week's books (actually this and last week's)

X-Force 22

ive bought this book from the beginning. this will be the last. i have no clue whats going on here. i get more from the "previouslly in xforce" page than i get from the actual book. alot of that is clayton crain's art... the dude does phenominal work in general. it really is pretty. but i have no clue whats happening in the panels. i cant tell who characters are. this is just all too convoluted for me storywise as well. i was hoping this title could stand alone within the xuniverse to tell me a story, but no... i gotta buy more to get the whole story.. thanks alot marvel. what is this the 90's again.

Dark Wolverine 81

why do i get this book... i dont know who dark wolverine is in the slightest... all i know of him is he's wolverine son and hes a bad guy mainly. i was kinda diggin this book a little back when the FF showed up and all that... but it just seems like nothing is happening and i dont care about the over all plot nor this character... well i gave it a shot but im done with it now. i want just normal ole wolverine... not Dark wolverine... how dumb sounding is that anyway.

Vengeance of the Moon Knight

now i am loving this book... great great art. jerome opena can tell you what is happening in pictures so well and cinematically. i dont know much about moon knight but im digging this... its giving me the slight things i need to know but is rolling along just fine as a new reader to it all.

Anti-Venom 3 of 3

so concludes the mini... the 1st issue had me hooked. great art. an interesting premises. then 2 came out and fell hard. the story went goofy slightly and artist from the 1st book only does a few pages and then this 3rd rate artist does his pages and just takes me way way out of the story. this one is back to decent art and it just wraps up. nothing special. i wish it would have been... from the first book i thought it might be but i was let down.

Web of Spider-man 3

not sure why i get this either. its not really doing anything for me. this is an anthology book with stories relating to spidey. but everything thats been in them so far have been really menial. there is the spider-girl stories that i dont give a poop about. im sure the loyal spider-girl fanbase are happy that shes getting new stories though. then there is an origin story for rhino... which was ok. i never knew it. and from this i never really needed to... but it was ok. then the last story is may and john jameson (father of jjj) on their honeymoon story (yep aunt may got married to the father of jjj)

Amazing Spider-man 614

the conclusion the electro 3 parter. it was good. the art was old school but still well done. some fairly big stuff happens.... spoiler... electro (and some of spidey) completely destroys the daily bugle (well the DB) building... and i mean totally, as in the building implodes and collapses) in that the current editor in chief dexter bennet, a supporting character for the last year and a half, is paralyzed. so yeah. this felt good. stuff happened.

Amazing Spider-man 615

start of the sandman parts of the overall gauntlet story arc. decent stuff here. spidey is running around in leggings a scarf and a stocking cap. which is pretty funny. art is decent and the mostly flat colors work decent kinda like the last arc. im interested in where this is going.
